Athletics:
1) There will be tryout for the boys lacrosse team on Thursday at 7:30pm in the gym.  This will be the only tryout so attendance is mandatory.
2) The girls rugby jamboree originally scheduled for today has been rescheduled to Friday at Mainland Common.  Game times remain the same.
3) The boys rugby jamboree will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at Harbour East.
4) Reminder to the badminton team that they have practice today at 4pm.
5) Anyone who did not attend yesterdays Track meeting is to see Mr. Crawford at lunch in A 102

Band News
Jazz Band Tuesday at lunch to run our pieces for the coffee house.

Band coffee house is Wednesday night at 7:00.  Could all performers please drop by the band room sometime today and touch base with Mrs. Burtt about your needs for AV for your performance.

Cycle Savers
If you are a student that is interested in leadership opportunities, you may want to come to A-205 at lunch to hear about Cycle Savers.  We are looking for students to lead grade 4's in an environmental program.   Come to A-205 at lunch for Cycle Savers

Yearbooks
There are only 80 yearbooks left to be purchased.  For the  next  two weeks you can buy them in room F126.  They are 50.00 cash or by cheque payable to Lockview High School.

Volunteer Opportunity
We have a volunteer opportunity we would like to promote for the Fall River Rebels Basketball Association. This is a great chance to give back to a sport that many of you have probably played, and it's great experience to feature on your university applications!

NS Student Loan info session
Nova Scotia Student Loan representatives will be here on Tuesday morning.  Grade 12 students are welcomed to attend an information session on Tuesday for second period. 

Students will need Teacher permission to attend the session. There will be a sign in sheet.  Students will be coded ACT for the period.

Autism Acceptance and Awareness Month
April is Autism awareness month.  There is an organized walk in support of Autism awareness in June.  If you are interested in more information about this, please go to www.walkthewalkforautism.ca/  or see the posted in the main office.

Big Brain Bandits
Congratulations to Lockview's Big Brain Bandits, Nick, Nolan and Ben who won third place at the Brain War Competition at Horton High School this past Saturday.

Math Tutors
Need help with math? The Peer Tutors are still available Monday to Thursday at lunch in room D207. Come on in and let them help you with any math topic you are struggling with.

Bus Route Changes
Reminder of Bus route changes for morning routes 302 and 314.  These take effect this Wednesday.  You can pick up an information sheet in the office with the time changes on it.  It is also posted on the Lockview website and Stock website.
