Athletics:
1) Good luck to the Badminton team as they compete in the Regional Championship today at Citadel.
2) The boys lacrosse team will hold it's only tryout on Thursday at 7:30 in the gym.
3) Good luck to the Boys Rugby team as they begin play in the season opening jamboree today at Harbour East.  The boys are to be dismissed at 2pm.

Band News
Coffee house is tonight at 7:00!  Tickets are $5.00 at the door and will get you some great entertainment and a dessert and coffee or tea.
All presold ticket money needs to be turned in to Mrs. Burtt today.

Flute ensemble members have a meeting at the beginning of lunch today - it will be short but important.

Jazz band members and Volare are to meet on stage today at 2:50 for a run through.

There is jazz band tomorrow at lunch.

Students Council News
You may have heard about how Thursday has been declared Jersey Day across the country in honour of the Humboldt Broncos hockey team, who lost 15 members in a tragic accident. 
Students' Council would like as many Lockview students and staff as possible to participate in a show of support by wearing a Jersey tomorrow. 

Lockview and the other HRM high school's are having a Relay for life on May 4th at Sackville High from 11 to 11.  Anyone interested please talk to a Students' Council member for more information.

Yearbooks
There are only 80 yearbooks left to be purchased.  For the next  two weeks you can buy them in room F126.  They are 50.00 cash or by cheque payable to Lockview High School.

Volunteer Opportunity
We have a volunteer opportunity we would like to promote for the Fall River Rebels Basketball Association. This is a great chance to give back to a sport that many of you have probably played, and it's great experience to feature on your university applications!

Attention Grade 9, 10 & 11 students
Guidance Counsellor are finishing up their student conferences regarding course selection for next year.  If you have any course corrections, please contact your Guidance Counsellor by Monday, April 16th.  There will be no course corrections in September of 2018 or in February of 2019.

Big Brain Bandits
Congratulations to Lockview's Big Brain Bandits, Nick, Nolan and Ben who won third place at the Brain War Competition at Horton High School this past Saturday.

Math Tutors
Need help with math? The Peer Tutors are still available Monday to Thursday at lunch in room D207. Come on in and let them help you with any math topic you are struggling with.

Bus Route Changes
Reminder of Bus route changes for morning routes 219, 302 and 314.  These These are now all in effect.  You can pick up an information sheet in the office with the time changes on it.  It is also posted on the Lockview website and Stock website.
