Athletics:
1) There will be a brief information meeting for any students interested in trying out for the next year's football team in room A102 at lunch today. 
2) Members of the girls slo-pitch team have to see Mr. Wilcox at some point over the lunch break in the gym office to get permission forms for this week's provincials. 
3) There will be a brief but extremely important meeting for track athletes who qualified for provincials.  The meeting will be at the beginning of lunch today in B111.

Japan Trip
There are still places available on the Japan Trip 2019!!!! Please see Ms McWilliam for details regarding the trip and fundraising opportunities!

There are some Veseys orders still to pick up, please collect them from room F110

Band
Band students are reminded of their concert this Wednesday night at 7:00.  There will be dress rehearsals in the day on Wednesday.  You all need your instruments in school Wednesday

Graduating students who are interested in performing at our Graduation ceremony this year should pick up an application form from Mrs. Burtt

Band students in grades 9-11 are asked to play in this year’s grad band.  Sign up is in the band room

Attention all Math 10 students: 
The very first of our lunch time exam prep sessions is today at lunch in room D207. Peer tutors will be available to help with Unit Conversion and Geometry today at lunch. Exams are not very far away, it is a great time to start reviewing the work you covered back in September with people who can help answer your questions.

Mx. Lockview
Lockview's annual Mx. Lockview event will be on May 31st from 7:00pm to 9:30pm. Tickets are on sale in the forum at lunch for 8 dollars and will be on sale every day at lunch right up until the event. They will also be for sale at the door for 10 dollars. Family and friends welcome. All proceeds will be going to Prom 2018. This is not an event you will want to miss!

Lockview Awards
Attention potential graduates of the class of 2018.  To be considered for any Lockview Awards such as bursaries, HRSB Leadership and Dragon’s Fire to name a few, interested student must fill out an application form.  These application forms are available in Student Services now.  The completed forms are due back to Student Services by Thursday, May 31th.

Political Science club
All members of the political science club must bring in $20 this Wednesday for their t-shirt. The shirts have arrived

Youth Action
There will be an important youth action team meeting in the YHC today at lunch.

AV Meeting
There will be an important AV team meeting today at lunch in the AV room

Grad Fees
Attention Grade 12 graduating students!  Grad Fees of $60 are due as soon as possible.  You are able to pay by cheque or cash.  These fees cover rental of the Halifax Forum, gowns, and other costs associated with graduation.  Please see Mrs. Daigle in the Students Services office to pay your fees.

All City Choir
The Vocala Girls’ Honour Choir and the Dartmouth Jazz Choir, a program of the HRCE’s All-City Music Department, will be holding auditions for new members beginning at 4 p.m. on the following dates:

Tuesday, June 5 at Dartmouth Music Centre, 35 Major Street
Tuesday, June 12 at Dartmouth Music Centre, 35 Major Street

Singers may book an audition time by contacting the Dartmouth Music Centre at 902-435-8464. The audition piece will be “O Canada”.

Applicants for Vocala Girls’ Honour Choir must be in Grade 7-12 in September 2018.
Male applicants for the Jazz Choir must be in Grades 9-12 in September 2018. (female applicants must be members of Vocala)
