Guidance:

Attention students:  the deadline for course corrections is Wednesday, Sept 12th.   Only course correction forms passed into Guidance by Wednesday, Sept. 12th will be considered for a course correction this semester.

Athletics:

1) Congrats to the Girls Soccer team as they opened their season with a 3-0 win over CPA.  Goal scorers were Eden Smith, Brenna Kennedy and Olivia Crowe.  Erin Robarts earned the shutout.
2) Members of the boys soccer team are reminded that they must hand in their forms and fees to Mr. Wilcox at lunch time today in order to receive their game kit.
3) Good luck to the boys soccer team as they open their season against Dartmouth today at 4pm at Burnside.  The boys are to be dismissed at 2:45pm.
4) Tryouts for the Varsity Girls Volleyball team have been cancelled for tonight.  Tryouts will continue on Wednesday and Thursday this week at 5:30pm.
5) The Baseball team will hold its final tryout on Wednesday at 5:30pm at MacDonald Sports Park.
6) The first cross country practice will be after school on Thursday. Students are to meet Ms. Knox in the gym ready to run at 3:45. Please bring water and sun screen.

Music:

There are sign-up sheets in the band room for choir and all music ensembles.

There will be a short percussion meeting Wednesday at lunch for all percussionists in grades 9-12.

Student Council:

Student’s Council will be handing out the grade nine t-shirts (to all new grade nine students), at lunch outside the council lounge.  You must have your student ID to pick one up.

Parking Passes:

Parking pass applications for grade 12 students are now available in student services.

Other:

There will be a meeting at lunch today for the political science club in room C205.

Youth Health Centre:

There will be a Youth Action Team meeting today at lunch in the Youth Health Centre to plan Pink day.
Anyone interested in joining this group come to the Youth Health Centre today and check it out!

Cafeteria:

The made to order sub cart will be open for business today.

Community:

Students are reminded that properties along Lockview Drive and MacPherson are private properties.  You should not be using them as short cuts when walking to and from the school.
