Athletics:

1) Good luck to the Varsity Girls Soccer team as they take on Sackville today at 4pm at Burnside.  The girls are to be dismissed at 2:45pm.
2) The Baseball team will hold final tryouts tonight at 5:30pm at MacDonald Sports Park.
3) The Varsity Girls Volleyball team will hold their 3rd round of tryouts tonight at 5:30pm.  Those students on the list posted outside the gym are invited to attend.
4) Tryouts for the JV Girls Volleyball team will be held on Sep. 17th, 19th, and 20th at 3:30pm in the gym.
5) Any students interested in trying out for the Golf team must attend a mandatory meeting today at the beginning of lunch in room A102.  If you don't attend the meeting you will not have your name added to the tee sheet for tryouts.
6) A list was posted outside the gym for the JV Girls Soccer team.  Any students on the list are asked to attend a brief meeting with Mr. Wilcox in room A102 at lunch on Thursday.  Any girls who are interested in having their name added to the list for a tryout please let Mr. Wilcox know.
7) The first XCountry practice will be held on Thursday after school.  Students are to meet Ms. Knox in the gym at 3:45pm.  Please bring water and sun screen.

Music:

There are sign-up sheets in the band room for choir and all music ensembles.

There will be a short percussion meeting today at lunch for all percussionists in grades 9-12.

The deadline for course corrections is TODAY.

The Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine is going to be hosting an open house on Sept. 22 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at 1306 Bedford Highway in Bedford, Nova Scotia. If students plan to attend, they should bring back evidence of their attendance to the Guidance Office.
Student Council:

Student’s Council will be handing out the grade nine t-shirts (to all new grade nine students), at lunch outside the council lounge.  You must have your student ID to pick one up.

Community:
Students are reminded that properties along Lockview Drive and MacPherson are private properties.  You should not be using them as short cuts when walking to and from the school.
