Athletics:

1) Good luck to the Varsity Boys Soccer team as they take on Dartmouth today at 4pm at Harbour East.  The boys are to be dismissed at 2:45pm.
2) Good luck to the JV Girls Soccer team as they take on Sacred Heart today at 4:30pm at Ravenscraig.  The girls are to be dismissed at 3pm.
3) The Girls Hockey team will hold a 2nd tryout on Wednesday, Oct. 3rd at 4pm at the Sackville Arena.
4) Members of the Baseball team and Golf team are reminded to pass their jerseys in to Mr. Wilcox this week.

Band:
There will be senior band after school today with guest conductor Dylan Rook Maddix.
Jazz band starts this week Thursday after school until 4:40.
All small ensembles will meet this Wednesday at lunch for a short meeting - sax , flute, clarinet and brass ensemble.
Volare the school choir will meet this Friday at lunch.

Other:
The Lockview gaming club meets every Tuesday and Thursday at Lunch in room F208. All are welcome!!

There will be a Haunted High Meeting in room B109 at lunch today.

There will be a Youth Action Team meeting in the Youth Health Centre at lunch today.

Unified sports will be in the gym at lunch today.

WE Social Entrepreneurship Program
Youth aged 14 to 19 can apply to the WE Social Entrepreneurship Program for the upcoming session starting on October 9. Application deadline is Oct 4.

WE believes that young people have the power to change the world—and the WE Social Entrepreneurship Program provides the tools to make that happen. This 10-part program at the WE Global Learning Centre in Toronto empowers young social entrepreneurs to develop and launch their own social enterprise, giving them access to helpful resources, mentorship and connections with like-minded individuals. Whether it’s starting a non-profit or mobilizing friends to contribute to social justice, this program helps students take the next steps to making their world-changing idea a reality.

Program details
The WE Social Entrepreneurship Program is run by trained WE staff, including experienced educators and leadership facilitators. The program features sessions run by industry experts in leadership, business and social entrepreneurship.
•         The program is a 10-part learning experience for youth aged 14 to 19, taking place at the WE Global Learning Center (339 Queen St East, downtown Toronto).
•         Sessions run every Tuesday evening for 3-hrs (6-9pm ET) from Oct 9 to Dec 13, along with a weekend pitching prep session on Dec 8 and 9.
•         Space is limited to 15 in-person participants from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and 5 virtual spots for youth located across the nation.
•         Applications will be reviewed, and successful candidates will be selected on the merit of their application.
•         Applications close on Oct 4, and successful applicants will be notified on Oct 5.
