1) Good luck to the Girls Hockey team as they take on CPA today at BMO at 4 pm.  The girls are to be dismissed at 2:45 pm.
2) Good luck to the Varsity Boys Basketball team as they play at Millwood tonight at 6 pm.
3) Good luck to the JV Girls Basketball team as they host CPA tonight at 6 pm.

*Are you looking to buy the perfect Valentine’s Day gift?  The Charity Club will be selling rafikis for $10 every Wednesday at lunch until January 23 in the Forum. 

*School Photographers will be here tomorrow and Friday (January 17 and 18).  If you still need grad photos, id’s or retake photos please book an appointment time on the home page of the LHS website. For grade 12’s, if you want to have your grad photo in the yearbook and have not yet had grad photos taken at school,  you must have your photo taken while the photographers are here this week.

*Today at lunch there will be a brownie bake sale in the Forum in support of prom.

* Musical rehearsal - Today is the first script reading of Shrek the musical. This will be held in the backstage area after school today. (Room F106). Please come right after the bell and please bring your script, extra paper and a pencil. Plan to stay until 5:30.

*Improv - Thursday is the second Improv exhibition round of this year’s competitive season. Come to Halifax West High School Thursday at 7:00 pm to see some awesome and funny stuff made up on the spot for your viewing pleasure. Admission is $5. Come support your LHS team.
