Athletics:
1) There will be tryouts for the Baseball team tonight at 5:30 pm at MacDonald Sports Park.

2) Tryouts for the Varsity Girls Volleyball team begin tonight at 7:30 pm. 

3) The Boys Soccer team open their season tonight against SJA at Mainland Common at 6 pm.  Any players on the tryout list for today's game are asked to attend.  The list will be posted outside the gym this morning.

4) Tryouts for the Boys Volleyball team will continue tomorrow at 3:30 pm.

5) Tryouts for the JV Girls Volleyball team begin this Friday at 3:30 pm.

6) There will be a brief meeting for any girls interested in trying out for the JV Soccer team today at lunch in Room A102 (located at the end of the forum).  The final tryout for the JV Girls Soccer team will be Thursday after school on the Lockview Field.

Student Services
*Course Corrections:   Attention students the deadline for course corrections will be Friday, Sept 13th at 9:00 am.  All completed forms signed by parents must be passed into Student Services by Friday at 9:00am.  Please take the time to read the four(4) reasons for which course corrections are granted at the top of the form. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated by Lockview.

Other:
*Tomorrow (Thursday, September 12) is PINK Day so please come to school wearing pink to show your support against bullying. Student Council will be selling pink shirts in the Forum at lunch today for $5. You can also buy a shirt for $5 today and tomorrow in the Youth Health Centre.

*There is going to be a dodgeball tournament Sept 23- 27 everyday @ lunch in the gym. A Sign- up sheet is posted outside the gym and there are prizes to be won!

*There will be a political science club meeting at lunch today in room C205 (the computer lab).
