Athletics:
1) Good luck to the Varsity Girls Soccer team as they compete in the Halifax West tournament today and tomorrow. 

2) The Boys Volleyball team list will be posted by lunch outside the gym.  The team is reminded that they have practice on Monday at 3:30 pm.

3) The JV Girls Soccer team will posted by lunch outside the gym.  The team is reminded that they have practice this Sunday from 5pm-7pm at the East Hants Dome.

4) The JV Girls Volleyball team will hold a tryout today at 3:30 pm.

5) Students trying out for the Golf Team are asked to check the board outside the gym before the end of day today.  The tee times and groups for Monday's tryout will be posted.  Reminder: You need to be at Oakfield ready to go by 1pm.

6) Baseball tryouts will continue on Monday at 5pm at MacDonald Sports Park.

7) Any students interested in joining the X-Country team are asked to meet with Mr. Wilcox in room A102 at the beginning of lunch today.

8) Any students who will be involved in Athletics are encouraged to download the free school app as Athletics news is posted there daily.

News from the Music Room:
*Sign- up sheets are now posted in the music room. If you would like to be a part of Jazz band, senior band, small ensembles or our school choir Volaré, pop down to sign up by Tuesday.

Other:
*Improv - Mr. Bauckman will be coaching the competitive Improv team again this year. Tryouts will start on Monday September 16th in the Drama room F106 after school.  We may add another day if we have a large number of people trying out. Hope to see you there.

*Students are reminded to please throw your trash in designated garbage cans, NOT on the side of the road, while on and off school property during class breaks.  Please help to keep our community clean.
