Athletics:
1) Good luck to the JV Girls Soccer team as they open their season against Sacred Heart at Ravenscraig field today at 4:30 pm.  The girls are to be dismissed at 3:00 pm.  The girls are also reminded to pass their fees into Mr. Wilcox by the end of lunch so they can receive their uniform.

2) Good luck to the Varsity Girls Soccer team as they play at CPA tonight at 6 pm.

3) The Baseball team will hold an exhibition game against Millwood on Wednesday evening at 5pm at MacDonald Sports Park as part of their tryout.  The tryout list for the game will be posted outside the gym today.  Those players on the list are invited to play in the game.

4) Thank you to all the students who tried out for the Golf team yesterday at Oakfield.  Congrats to Jordie Cooper, Nate Clow, Brady Margeson, Ryan Frizzle, Monica Johnston and Molly White on making this year's team.  There will be an important meeting for the team at the end of lunch today in Mr. Wilcox's office.

5) Members of the Boys Volleyball team are reminded to get their fees into Mr. Wilcox so they can receive their uniform before this weekend's games.

6) The Girls Hockey team will hold tryouts on Friday Sep. 20th at 7 a.m. and Monday Sep. 23rd at 6 p.m. at the Sackville Arena.  Tryouts are open to all girls from grade 9-12.

7) The Boys Hockey team will begin tryouts on Friday Sep. 20th.  Phase 1 will include two sessions on Fri. Sep. 20th at 5 p.m. and Sun. Sep. 22nd at 9 p.m.  Cost for Phase 1 is $40.  All sessions are at the Sackville Arena.

* Hey Lockview, Do you like gaming? Well today is your lucky day, gaming club officially begins in Room F208 at lunch. Come, meet some new friends, have fun and game!!!

* In commemoration of Orange shirt day, the Mi’kmaq Indigenous Student support program will be making beaded Orange Shirt Buttons at lunch time starting this Wed.  Sept 18th. Please see the sign-up sheet posted across from the library. All are welcome! 

*A reminder to students that have not paid student fees, you can still pay them in student services.

*Students are reminded not to litter. Please throw your trash in designated garbage cans, NOT on the side of the road, while on and off school property during class breaks.
