Athletics:
1) Congrats to members of the Cross Country team who ran in the 2nd race of the Metro series at Point Pleasant Park this week.  Lockview had solid results again in all categories.  Monica Johnston led the way capturing first place in Intermediate Girls with Mya Archibald finishing 5th in that same race.  As a team, the intermediate girls placed 2nd overall.  Austin Theriault cracked the top 10 in the intermediate boys’ race. In the senior events, Emma Archibald and Jack MacMillan both placed sixth in their respective events.  Runners are reminded to get their fees in and check their name off on the list if they are running next week's race at the Dingle. 

2) Good luck to the Boys Volleyball team as they compete in the Horton High Tournament this weekend.  The boys are to be dismissed at 3 pm.

3) Good luck to the Varsity Girls Volleyball team as they compete in the CEC Tournament this weekend.  The girls are to be dismissed at 3 pm.

4) Good luck to the JV Girls Soccer team as they take on Dartmouth today at 4:30 pm at MicMac field.  The girls are to be dismissed at 3 pm.

5) Good luck to the Boys Soccer team as they play the West tonight at 6 pm at Mainland Common.

6) Members of the Golf team are reminded of the Provincial Tournament this Monday at Grandview.  Golfers should be warmed up and ready to golf by 9:00 am.

*The meeting for grade 9s interested in going to Quebec is TODAY at the beginning of lunch in A102. Please arrive at the start of lunch.

*The RCMP is currently recruiting for its Youth Cybercrime Advisory Committee. Selected students will meet 5 times during the school year with police officers and other students from across the province.  If you are interested in one of the 3 available spots please come to the main office to leave your name by the end of day today.
