Athletics Announcements

1) Tryouts for the Baseball team will be held today at 5pm-7pm at the Correctional Ball Diamond at Cobequid and Glendale. 
2) A list of players invited to attend the third tryout for the Varsity Girls Volleyball team has been posted on the Athletics website and the school app.
3) Tryouts for the Varsity Boys Soccer team will continue today at 4 pm on the field.
4) Tryouts for the Varsity Boys Volleyball team continue today at 4 pm.
5) Students who signed up to try out for the Golf team and are not members of Oakfield need to pay the tryout fee of $50 to Mr. Wilcox by the end of this week in order to be included in the tee times.
6) Students interested in trying out for JV Girls Soccer, JV Girls Volleyball, Basketball and Hockey are asked to fill out the Google form that will be posted by Thursday at the latest on the Athletics website

Any grade 12 interested in the Loran Scholarship (due October 15, 2020) can go to https://loranscholar.ca/becoming-a-scholar/ for more information.  If you are interested in being school sponsored please submit a one page essay on why you would be a suitable candidate to guidance before September 24.
