Athletics Announcements

1) Tryouts for the Varsity Girls Soccer team continue today at 4 pm on the Lockview field. 

2) The third tryout for the Varsity Girls Volleyball team will be held today at 4 pm.  A list of players invited to attend has been posted on the Athletics website and the school app.

3) The roster for the Varsity Boys Volleyball team will be posted on the Athletics website and the school app by the end of the day.  Their next practice is scheduled for Monday at 4 pm.

4) The Baseball team will hold a final tryout today at 5pm at the Correctional Ball Diamond.  A list of players invited to attend is posted on the Athletics website and the school app.  Those players who were unable to attend yesterday's session can attend tonight as well. 

5) Students who signed up for the Golf tryout and are NOT members at Oakfield need to pay the $50 tryout fee to Mr. Wilcox by tomorrow if they want to be included in the tee times.

Any grade 12 interested in the Loran Scholarship (due October 15, 2020) can go to https://loranscholar.ca/becoming-a-scholar/ for more information.  If you are interested in being school sponsored please submit a one page essay on why you would be a suitable candidate to guidance before September 24.
