Athletics:
1) Good luck to the Cross- Country team as they compete in the final race in the Metro Series today at 4 pm at the Dingle park.  Runners are to be dismissed at 3:00 pm.

2) Good luck to the Varsity Boys Soccer team as they take on Halifax West today at 4 pm at Harbour East.  The boys are to be dismissed at 3:00 pm.

3) The Boys Varsity Volleyball team opened their season with a tough loss to Sommet yesterday, 3-0.

4) Congrats to the Varsity Girls soccer team on their 1-0 win over Citadel.  Ellie Lancaster had the shutout while Mya Archibald scored the game’s only goal.

Other:
*Students are asked to return their library books from last year.  Please check your gnspes email account for overdue notices.  All books can be returned to the library between 9 am to 3:30pm.  Have a book from GPV??  No problem! Return it to the Lockview Library and it will be sent to GPV. 

* Crawford and Fowlow’s grade 9 PE classes will be taking part in Terry Fox tomorrow am- please dress warm enough and bring a toonie for Terry...or more!!
