Athletics:
1) Congrats to the Girls Hockey team on defeating Halifax West yesterday by a score of 3-2. Goal scorers were Olivia Woolaver, Claire Munro, and Neleh Vigneau-Sargeant. Good luck to the girls as they take on Citadel today at 4 pm at the Halifax Forum. The girls are to be dismissed at 2:45 pm.
2) Good luck to the JV Girls Volleyball team as they play at Armbrae tonight at 6 pm.
3) Congrats to the JV Girls Soccer team on their 5-3 win over Easter Shore yesterday. Liv Cox led the way with 3 goals while Dana Crossley and Lily Soucy added singles.
4) Congrats to the Varsity Boys Soccer team as they defeated Dartmouth High by a score of 5-1 in the Metro Quarterfinal. Josh Rhuland led the way with a pair of goals while Luke Green, Colby Mercer, and Jared Creelman added singles. The win moves the boys into the Metro Semifinals on Friday.

*Attention Dragons: NSCC is having a virtual open house from November 17th to 26th. We encourage you to go on their website to register for the open house. Those who attend the Virtual Open House will be able to apply for free. Be sure to check it out!
*The next Waterloo math contests are scheduled to be written on Wed Nov 18. If you are interested in writing either the Canadian Intermediate Math Contest (for grades 9 and 10) or the Canadian Senior Math Contest (for grades 11 and 12), please see your math teacher to sign up. If you have questions, please see Ms. Miles in room D207. Contests will be ordered this Friday, so you must sign up by Thursday at 3:30pm.
*Student council members interested in yearbook are asked to meet at lunch time in the library.
*There will be a GSA meeting today at lunch in Mr. MacDougalls’ room (A106).
*Anyone who wore orange and black for today’s spirit day, please head down to the forum at lunch for your points. Please remember to participate in costume day tomorrow!
