Athletics:
1) Tryouts for the Boys and Girls Rugby teams begin today.  The boy’s session will be held at 4pm while the girl’s session will be at 8pm.  Students who are interested in trying out are required to complete the Google Form sign up.  The form can be found on the Athletics website or the School app.

2) Good luck to the Varsity Girls Basketball team as they open their season tonight at Citadel at 6pm.

Other:
*A reminder to grade 9 students who are interested in applying to the O2 program for next year that your applications are due to Ms. Bianco in room F113 no later than February 15.  If you are interested in applying but have not yet picked up your application, please see Ms. Bianco ASAP.

*Summer Co-op:  Friday, February 5th at the beginning of lunch, Mr. MacLean and Mr. Goora will be hosting a meeting in room C208 for any students interested in working with a red seal trades person at a PAID summer co-op. Placements include the fields of culinary, automotive or construction trades. Students must be 16 years of age by May 1st, 2021 to apply. Stop by for more details and an application package.

*A reminder to students that masks are mandatory in school. Please bring your reusable masks from home each day, and put an extra in your bag as the office has no further stock of disposable masks. All students should have received 2 re-usable masks in September and again in January.  If you have not received yours, please stop by the office to pick them up.

*There will be a yearbook meeting in the library at lunch today.

*The next set of math contests is coming up later this month. If you would like to write either the Pascal, Cayley or Fermat Math contests from Waterloo, please speak to your math teacher today to sign up. If you can't find your math teacher, see Ms. Miles in room D207 by lunch time tomorrow (at the very latest) to sign up, or if you have any questions. Contests will be ordered tomorrow, so please sign up today if you are in grade 9, 10, or 11 and want to write one of the contests.
