Athletics:
1) Congrats to the Varsity Girls Soccer team on their 1-0 win over Millwood yesterday.  The win advances the girls to the next round of the playoffs vs Auburn today at Harbour East at 6 pm.

2) Good luck to the JV Girls Soccer team as they take on Citadel today at Harbour East at 4 pm with a chance to capture the Regional banner.  The girls are to be dismissed at 2:30 pm. 

3) Good luck to the Varsity Girls Volleyball team as they host CPA tonight at 6 pm.

4) Tryouts for the Varsity Boys Basketball team continue at 8 pm tonight.

5) Teams using the gym are reminded that they are not permitted in the school until the previous group has left.  Students are not permitted to hang out in the foyer. 

6) Members of the JV Girls Volleyball team are reminded to pay their fees this week.

7) Members of the Golf team and Baseball team are asked to return their uniforms to Mr. Wilcox.

Other:
*Halifax Regional Arts will be holding auditions for their performance of “High School Musical on Stage” at Prince Andrew High School at 4:30pm on November 3. For additional information, check out the poster in the Main Office window or outside the Lockview Music Room.

*The Charity Club will be collecting pants and socks for the jeans 4 teens foundation. Donations will be accepted until the 5th of November and there will be a collection bin in each A block class.  Share the warmth this winter, all donations welcome!

*Interested in writing a math contest? The next round of Waterloo Math Contests ... the Canadian Intermediate and Canadian Senior Math competitions... are coming up on November 17. If you'd like more information or would like to sign up to write the contests, please talk to your math teacher sometime this week. Or see Ms. Miles in room D207 one lunch hour this week. Contests will be ordered on Monday, Oct 25, so be sure to sign up before then.

*Tomorrow is a PD Day for teachers so there will be no school for students.  Have a great long weekend!
