Athletics:
1) Congrats to the Girls Hockey team as they defeated Millwood last night 8-0.  Adyson MacGillivray, Reese Mason, and Hilary Wilkin each had a pair of goals while Norah Haas and Mia Fabrizi added singles.  Cicely Harnum earned the shutout.

2) Congrats to the Boys Hockey team as they defeated Bay View by a score of 6-2 last night.  Bailey Conrad led the way with a pair of goals while Callum Lenihan, Jake MacAulay, Will Meek and Brady Whitman added singles. 

3) Good luck to the JV Boys Basketball team as they host Island View tonight at 6 pm.

4) There are a couple of players from the Varsity Boys Volleyball and Varsity Girls Soccer teams who have not yet picked up their hoodies from Mr. Wilcox.  Please do so asap.

5) Members of the Varsity Boys, JV Boys and Varsity Girls Basketball teams are reminded to get their fees in to Mr. Wilcox this week.

Guidance:
*Grade 12 students, are you interested in becoming a Schulich Leader? If you would like to be considered, please write a one-page essay explaining why you would be the best candidate for this nomination using the criteria outlined.   Details have been posted on the Google classroom.  Essays must be submitted to the guidance department by 4:00 pm (AST) on Friday January 7th, 2022.  Late submissions will not be accepted.

*The Jazz Band will meet until 5 today after school.

*All photographers please go to Ms. Meisner’s room, A103, at the beginning of lunch.

*Charity club is running a food drive for Christmas families once again this year. The drive will run from December 1st to December 16th. Please bring Items to your A block class. There will be a point system in place for different items and the class with the most points will win a ice cream party. Hygiene items are highly encouraged and cash is accepted as well.
