Athletics

1) Members of the Varsity Boys, JV Boys, and Varsity Girls Basketball teams are asked to return their uniforms to Mr. Wilcox this week.

2) Tryouts for the Girls Lacrosse team will be held on Thursday, Apr. 14th at 8 pm.

3) Congrats to the Field Hockey team as they remain undefeated after a 6-1 win over Sackville High last night.  Lily Soucy led the way with 3 goals, while Monica Johnston scored 2, and Amy Guenette added a single.

4) Good luck to the Girls Rugby team as they host their annual Icebreaker Jamboree tomorrow at Harbour East turf.

Guidance

Guidance counsellors have completed meeting with all students to discuss course selection for next year.  If your student did not get an opportunity to speak with their counsellor, they should make an appointment in the Student Services Centre.  Students can request seven courses in grade 11 and six courses in grade 12.  If they would like to take an additional course, they may request this online.  The Google form will be available in May and a link will be posted in the Student Services Google classroom. We now have a Google classroom for grade 9 students! All students received an invitation to join through their GNSPES email.    If any student requires support joining their Google classroom, please ask them to drop by the Student Services Centre or email tellsworth@hrce.ca
