Athletics:

1. Congrats to the Girls Rugby team on their convincing win over Halifax West yesterday.  Good luck to them as they begin play in the King's Edgehill tournament today.  The girls are to be dismissed at lunch time.

2. Congrats to the Boys and Girls Lacrosse teams as they both won games in their first week of league play.  Good luck to the Boys as they take on JLI tonight at 8pm at Lebrun.  Both teams are reminded to get their fees paid asap.

3) Ethan Hamilton and Cohen Best are asked to see Mr. Wilcox at some point today.

4) Congrats to our Badminton teams on their strong showings at the Regional tournament this week.  Isabel Goncalves and Georgia Carr-McEachern won the Senior Girls Doubles while Brennel Enman and Joe Walsh placed 2nd in the Senior Mixed Doubles.  Both pairs advance to the Provincial Championships next week.  Members of the team are asked to return their jerseys next week.

Earth Day was established in 1970, making this the 52nd anniversary.  Around 1 billion people in 190 countries join to demonstrate acts of kindness to the environment and to help make our Earth a beautiful place!
