Athletics:
1) Congrats to the Ringette team on successfully defending the Metro Ringette Championship this past weekend.  Lauren Arnold and Kaitlyn Snow led the way in a dramatic semi-final shootout win before the girls came back from a 3-1 deficit in the championship game to defeat Auburn in overtime on a winning goal from Lauren Arnold. 

2) Good luck to the Field Hockey team as they host Sackville High in the Metro Quarterfinal today at 5 pm.

3) Good luck to the Girls Rugby team as they take on Bay View today at 4:45 pm at Mainland Common.  The girls are to be dismissed at 3:15 pm

4) The Girls Slo-pitch team will hold practices this week at lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  If the weather is nice, we will be outside on the field.

5) Tryouts for the Boys Slo-pitch team will be confirmed asap.

Guidance:
*Grade 12 students going to SMU in the fall can meet with an advisor on May 12 from 9:25-12:05 in the library.  Advisors will assist students with course selection. Students are encouraged to bring their own device where possible.

*All grade 12 students are encouraged to complete the Lockview High School Graduation Awards Application Form 2022.  It is available in the Google Class of 2022 until May 13, 2022, at 4pm.

Other:
*Congratulations to all our Lockview musicians for a wonderful concert yesterday with the Nova Scotia Youth Wind Ensemble and the Stadacona Band.  Lockview was well represented in our provincial honor band with 8 students: April Lucas, Brady Gillis, Mattingly Lunn, Anneka Miller, Bianca Daskalov, Venessa Barker, Charlie Saunders and Mya Theriault.

*Just a reminder that auditions for the Lockview variety show coffee house are this Wednesday.  You need to sign up on the google form in your guidance google classroom in order to participate.  The form will close tomorrow at noon.
