• Tryouts for the JV Girls Volleyball team continue today at 4 pm.

• Good luck to the JV Girls Soccer team as they open their season against Eastern Shore today at 4:15 pm at Mic Mac field.  The girls are to be dismissed at 3 pm.  Jerseys will be available for pick up in Mr. Wilcox's office at lunch time.  - CANCELLED

• Tryouts for the Boys Hockey team begin tonight at 6 pm at East Hants.  The tryout fee for Phase 1 is $30.

• Good luck to the Varsity Boys Volleyball team as they host Auburn tonight at 6 pm.

• Congrats to the Baseball team as they started their season with 2 wins over Sackville High and Millwood.  They try to keep the winning streak going tonight against Dartmouth at 6 pm at Woodside.- CANCELLED

• Tee times and groups for the Golf Tryout scheduled for Wednesday evening are posted on the Athletics site and the School App.  Students who are not members at Oakfield need to pay their $25 green fee to Mr. Wilcox today.  If you are not planning on attending the tryout, please let Mr. Wilcox know asap so he can remove you from the tee sheet.

• Do you need help with your math work? Peer Tutoring Support will begin today and will run every lunch hour this semester. It will be in room D207 (Ms. Miles' room) from 12:10 until the end of lunch. Any student who needs help with their math work is encouraged to come to room D207 at lunch and a Grade 12 Pre-Calculus student will be happy to help you out.

• School Pictures will take place on September 23.  An email has been sent home with information on accessing and ordering photos.  This info can also be found on our school website.

• Our Terry Fox walk is scheduled to take place this Thursday during second period. This week. PE Leadership students will be coming to classes to collect donations during A block. You may also donate on terryfoxschoolrun.org.  Our goal is to collect $1 for each student at Lockview.  Please bring in our donation to support.
