• There will be a health action team meeting today at lunch in the Youth Health Center for any student who is interested in health or social justice.
• Anyone interested in joining the Library Art club please see Mrs. Powell in the library to sign up.  Each month the Sackville Public Library will provide an activity or craft to keep you busy during lunchtime.  Space is limited so Students must sign up before October 14th to participate.
• Calling all readers! Book Club is back! You're invited to bring your lunch to the library and discuss your favourite or not so favourite book.  All are grades welcome.
• This yearbook club will be held on Tuesdays at lunchtime and will begin on Oct 4th.  If you are interested, please sign up in the library. Space is limited.
• Do you need help with your math work? Peer Tutoring Support will begin today and will run every lunch hour this semester. It will be in room D207 (Ms. Miles' room) from 12:10 until the end of lunch. Any student who needs help with their math work is encouraged to come to room D207 at lunch and a Grade 12 Pre-Calculus student will be happy to help you out.
• School Pictures will take place this Friday.  Please check the school website, or the email sent home last week for instructions on accessing your proofs and to place orders.
• Good luck to the Varsity Girls Volleyball team as they host JLI tonight at 6 pm.
• Phase 1 of the Boys Hockey tryouts continue tonight at 8pm at East Hants.
• Tryouts for the Golf Team will be held this evening at Oakfield.  Groups and tee times are posted on the Athletics site and the School App.  Those students who need to pay the $25 green fee need to do so by lunch today or your name will be removed from the tee sheet.  Please let Mr. Wilcox know asap if you are not attending.  There will be a final meeting at the beginning of lunch in Room A102.

• Congrats to the Varsity Boys Volleyball team as they opened their season with a win over Auburn last night.
• A list of students invited to attend the 3rd tryout for the JV Girls Volleyball team is posted on the Athletics site and the School App.
• Our Terry Fox walk is scheduled to take place this Thursday during second period. PE Leadership students will be coming to classes to collect donations during A block. You may also donate on terryfoxschoolrun.org.  Our goal is to collect $1 for each student at Lockview.  Please bring in our donation to support this worthy cause.
