• Next week there will be intramurals in the gym every lunch hour.  Check the bulletin board by the gym to sign up for Basketball, Volleyball, Dodgeball, Flag Football and Ball Hockey.
• Do you consider yourself an artist? Do you want to show your portfolio? If so, take part in the yearbook cover page design contest. Submissions are due on October 14 and the theme is Re-ignite the fire within. Find one of the posters around the school for more details.
• On Friday October 14 the Sackville Public Library will be hosting a Fun Friday Art club.  Those interested in joining can sign up in the library.
• Congrats to the Varsity Girls Volleyball team as they remain undefeated with a 3-1 win over CPA last night.  Lauren Fulton was player of the game.
• Congrats to the JV Girls Volleyball team as they defeated Cole Harbour last night 3-0.  Penny Menkenrick was player of the game.
• Congrats to the Baseball team as they went undefeated in the first round of the Metro League with a win over Dartmouth High Tuesday night.
• Good luck to the Golf team as they compete in the Metro Championships today at Sherwood Golf Club.
• Good luck to the Cross- Country team as they compete in the final Metro Series Race today at the Dingle park.  Runners are to be dismissed at 2:45 pm.
• The tryouts for the Girls Hockey team will continue Friday morning from 7-8 am at the Sackville Arena.
• Good luck to the JV Girls Soccer team as they take on Island View today at 4:15 pm at Mic Mac field.  The girls are to be dismissed at 3:00 pm.
