1) Congrats to the Lockview Unified Basketball team as they put on an amazing display of teamwork and sportsmanship at yesterday's tournament.  The hard work you all put into practice was definitely evident yesterday.  Special shoutout to Sam Lirette for hitting the game winning shot at the buzzer!

2) Good luck to the Field Hockey team as they take on Armbrae in the Metro Championship game today at 5:00 pm at Citadel.  The girls are to be dismissed at 3:00 pm.

3) The Lockview Girls Slo-Pitch team came up short in their game against Bay View yesterday.  Jenna Murphy and Mary Wharton led the way with key hits while catchers, Jenna Murphy, Julie Adamson and Reese Adams were solid defensively.  The girls are reminded to get their $75 fee paid this week.  Payment can be made with cash or cheque to Mr. Wilcox, or the online payment option will be active by the end of the day today.

4) Tryouts for the Boys Slo-Pitch team will be held tonight and tomorrow at 5:30 pm at MacDonald Sports Park. 

5) Yearbooks are now Sold Out! They will arrive at the school and be distributed in June.

6) The Grade 12 Awards Application for 2023 is now available.  Any grade 12 student who would like to be considered for an award must complete the Google Form application by 4pm, Friday, May 19, 2023.  Students can access the application through the Class of 2023 google classroom.

7) Any students interested in the Europe 2024 trip who missed the meeting last night can scan the QR code in the main office window for information.  The trip can accommodate the first 42 students to sign up with a deposit.

8)  The library is closed.  Only students with an Oral Proficiency interview scheduled may go in today.
