1) Congrats to the Girls Slo-Pitch team as they opened the Regional Tournament with two wins yesterday, including a come from behind win over Eastern Shore.  Lockview was led at the plate and on defense by Reese Adams and Haylie Jackson while Megan Green and Breigha Purcell were solid from the pitching mound.  Games continue Thursday and Friday. 

2) Good luck to the Boys Slo-Pitch team as they take on JLI and Bay View today at the Regional Championships at Springfield Lake fields.

3) Reminder to the Slo-Pitch teams that fees are due this week.

4) Good luck to the Girls Rugy team as they play Citadel in the Metro Semi-final today at 4:45 pm.  The girls are to be dismissed at 3:15 pm.  There will be an important team meeting at the beginning of lunch in Room A102.

5) Today is the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia and marks its 20th year with the goal of raising awareness of 2SLGBTQI equality and engaging in positive dialogue to counter homophobic and transphobic behavior. Every year this is held on May 17th, and it has become an international event.

6) The Grade 12 Awards Application for 2023 is now available.  Any grade 12 student who would like to be considered for an award must complete the Google Form application by 4pm, Friday, May 19, 2023.  Students can access the application through the Class of 2023 google classroom.

7) If you are a grade 11 or 12 student next year (2023-2024) and you would like to take an additional course, please complete the Google Form available in Class of 2024/Class of 2025 before Friday, May 26 at 4pm.
