Congratulations to the following Lockview runners who medaled at the Regional Cross Country Championships on Thursday at Point Pleasant Park: Jackson Swan (3rd Intermediate boys) and Anna Carruthers (1st Senior Girls). Jackson, Anna and Jonah McIntyre all qualified for provincials by placing in the top 15 today. Congratulations to everyone who came out and competed. Provincials are Oct 20 in New Minas. Good luck!
The Boys Varsity Soccer team take on Ecole du Sommet at 4pm today. They are to be dismissed at 230pm.

Varsity tryouts: Oct. 15 (8–10 pm) & Oct. 16 (3:30–5:15 pm).
JV tryouts: Oct. 27 & 29 (8–10 pm).
Any girls interested in playing basketball for lockview are encouraged to attend the joint basketball tryouts on Wednesday October 15th and 16th. Please see the sign up outside the Athletic Directors office.
The Lockview Football team takes on Sydney Academy this Sunday at 2pm on our home turf. Cost to attend is $3 for students. Come cheer on your Dragons!
