Grade 9 parents/guardians,
A course selection information session is being held next Wednesday, February 11th at 6:00 p.m. in our school cafeteria for parents of current grade 9 students. At this session, our guidance counsellors will explain how high school course selection works and what you need to consider when supporting your child in choosing their grade 10 courses.
Course selection for grade 10 happens in February. The courses students select determines our staffing and schedule for next year, so it is very important that students give good consideration to the courses they choose, as there is no guarantee that they will be able to change their course selections in September. This is particularly important when choosing a grade 10 math course, as it may not be possible to change courses after first semester.
