Athletics:
1) Good luck to Monica Johnston and Colin McKenna as they compete in the third and final Capital Region ski race today at Wentworth.

2) Congratulations to those students who were selected for the Field Hockey team.  Thank you to all who tried out.  The team list is posted on the Athletics site and the school app.

Other:
*Yearbooks are now for sale on our school website.  There are only 200 books available and sales are on a first come, first served basis so reserve yours soon.

*Attention Grades 9,10 and 11 students.  The Student Portal in Power School for "Class Registration" will be closing on Feb. 27th.   Please be sure to enter in your course selections for next year by Thursday. Student Services staff will be in the C205 computer lab at lunchtime this week to answer any questions you may have.

*For those who are joining the BOOK CLUB: The meeting has been changed to Thursday, Feb 27 at 12:00 in the library.

Black History Month:
*Marjorie Bailey was a Canadian sprinter who competed in the women's 100 metres and 200 metres at the 1976 Summer Olympics. She made the semi-final round in both events and ran the anchor leg of the 4 x 100 metre relay, which placed fourth and set a Canadian record.
