1) February is African Heritage Month! This year's theme, Seas of Struggle – African Peoples from Shore to Shore, recognizes the resiliency, strength, and determination of people of African descent from the shores of Africa to the shores of Nova Scotia – with the Atlantic Ocean being the everlasting connection. To begin the month, we will be playing “Lift Every Voice” along with our national anthem this morning.

2) Good luck to the Girls Hockey team as they begin their playoffs today vs Dartmouth High at 4pm at the Sackville Arena.  The girls are to be dismissed at 2:45 pm.

3) Tryouts for the Rugby teams begin today.  The Boy's session will be held at 4pm and the Girl's session goes at 6pm.

4) Good luck to the Boys Hockey team as they take on Citadel tonight at 7:30pm at the Sackville Arena.
