This week’s winner for the Math Problem of the Week draw is Naiomi Arnolden. Congrats to Naiomi. A new set of problems was put up outside room D207 yesterday. Solution attempts must be turned in by Wednesday Oct 18 at 3:30pm to be entered into the next draw for a prize.

If you are interested in writing either the Canadian Senior Math Contest (Grades 11 and 12) or the Canadian Intermediate Math Contest (grades 9 and 10), please see your math teacher ASAP to sign up. Contests will be ordered next week. If you have any questions, see Ms Miles in room D207.

Shout out to the LHS Cross Country Team, who put on a great effort at the Regional Meet yesterday at Point Pleasant Park! Abby Lewis and Anna Carruthers each placed first in the Senior Girls and Intermediate Girls races, respectively, and Eugene Legge placed second in the Intermediate Boys race. The Intermediate boys also placed second in the team standings, which qualifies them for Provincials in Cheticamp, Cape Breton in two weeks. Well done, runners!

Girls Varsity Soccer takes on CPA today at 4. They will have a 3 pm dismissal.
The football team takes on CEC Saturday at 7 pm on the Bedford All Weather Field beside C.P. Allen.
And the boy's Varsity Volleyball team are participating in the Dartmouth High Tournament

Today is the last day to sign up for basketball. Please sign up outside of the Athletic Director's office.

It is also the last day for grade 9 and 10 boys interested in JV Volleyball to sign up.
