Athletics:
1) Congrats to the Varsity Girls Soccer team on their 4-0 win over Bay View yesterday.  Isabel Goncalves and Mya Archibald both had a pair of goals each while Ellie Lancaster earned the shutout.

2) Good luck to the Varsity Boys Soccer team as they take on Citadel today at 4pm at Mainland Common.  The boys are to be dismissed at 2:45 pm.

3) Good luck to the JV Girls Soccer team as they play Mosaique today at 4:30 pm at Westmount Field.  The girls are to be dismissed at 2:45 pm. 

4) Congrats to the Baseball team as they defeated Horton by a score of 6-1 on Saturday and qualified for this weekend's Provincial Championships.

5) Tryouts for the Varsity Girls Basketball team will begin on Friday, Oct. 15th at 4:00 pm.  Any students who are interested in trying out need to complete the Google Sign Up form that will be posted on the Athletics website and the School App, as well as, show their proof of vaccination to Mr. Wilcox no later than Thursday, Oct. 14th.  Students who are already on another team do not need to show it again.

6) Tryouts for the Varsity Boys Basketball team will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 19th at 8:00 pm.  Any students who are interested in trying out need to complete the Google Sign Up form that will be posted on the Athletics website and the School App, as well as, show their proof of vaccination to Mr. Wilcox no later than Monday, Oct. 18th.  Students who are already on another team do not need to show it again.

*Applications for the Loran Scholarship are due online by tomorrow at https://loranscholar.ca/becoming-a-scholar/. For additional information logon to the “Class of 2022” Google classroom.

Other:
*There will be a charity club meeting today in Ms. Bianco’s room (B207) at lunch.

*There will be Senior band today after school until 5:oo.

*Jazz band will start this Thursday afterschool until 4:30.

*Small ensembles will start this week Wednesday at lunch.
