Athletics:
1) Good luck to the Cross- Country team as they compete in the Regional Cross Country Meet today at Point Pleasant Park.

2) Good luck to the Varsity Boys Soccer team as they take on Bay View today at 4 pm at Harbour East.  The boys are to be dismissed at 2:45 pm.

3) Good luck to the Football team as they host Park View tonight at 6 pm at Mainland Common.  Admission is $3 for spectators and proof of vaccine and ID is required.

4) Students interested in trying out for the Varsity Girls or Varsity Boys Basketball teams need to complete the Google Sign Up Form that is posted on the Athletics website and the school app.  Proof of Vaccination also has to be shown to Mr. Wilcox before the first tryout.  Students who do not complete these steps will not be permitted to attend.

5) Members of the JV Girls Volleyball team are reminded to pay their fees to Mr. Wilcox or online.

6) Members of the Golf Team are reminded to return their uniforms to Mr. Wilcox.

Student Services:
*Students, please ensure that you are checking the calendar on the Student Services website calendar (https://sites.google.com/gnspes.ca/lockviewstudentservices).  We have booked many opportunities for you to meet with universities and colleges, in-person or virtually.  This is a great way for you to decide where you want to go after high school!

Other:
*Jazz band will start today afterschool until 4:30.

*If you are a singer and would like to sing in the Lockview choir, Volaré, please see Mrs. Burtt in the music room to sign up.

*A reminder to those students who signed up for yearbook committee that there will be a meeting at lunch in room A103.

*The Charity Club will be collecting pants and socks for the jeans 4 teens foundation. They will be accepting donations until the 5th of November and there will be a collection bin in each A block class.  Share the warmth this winter, all donations welcome!
