Athletics:
1) Congrats to both the Boys and Girls Lacrosse teams on capturing the Silver Medals in the Metro Tournament held at Lebrun. 

2) There will be an important meeting at the beginning of lunch in Room A102 for any girls who signed up to tryout for the Girls Slo-pitch team.

3) Any students who have a Lockview team uniform at home are asked to return it to Mr. Wilcox asap.

Guidance:
*If you are a grade 11 or 12 student next year (2022-2023) today is the last day to request an additional course in your schedule.

*Grade 12 students going to SMU in the fall can meet with an advisor on May 12 from 9:25-12:05 in the library.  Advisors will assist students with course selection. Students are encouraged to bring their own device where possible.

*All grade 12 students are encouraged to complete the Lockview High School Graduation Awards Application Form 2022.  It is available in the Google Class of 2022 until May 13, 2022 at 4pm.

Other:
* May is Asian Heritage Month, an opportunity to learn about and celebrate the achievements and contributions of Canadians of Asian heritage. The theme this year is, “Continuing a legacy of greatness”.

*Any grade 12 student interested in becoming the valedictorian for the class of 2022 should see Mr. Stacey for an application. The deadline for submitting your application is Friday, May 6. The grad breakfast and valedictorian speak off will be held during first period on Friday, May 20th in the cafe.

*Do you have a talent and have been waiting for an audience?  Come out and perform at Lockview Live on May 18.  A google sign up form with all the details is in your google classroom for guidance.  If you have any questions email Mrs. Burtt.
