Athletics:
1) Good luck to the JV Boys Basketball team as they host SJA today at 6 pm.
2) Good luck to the Varsity Boys Basketball team as they host Cole Harbour tonight at 8 pm.
3) Any students who are interested in trying out for the Girls or Boys Rugby teams are asked to put their name on the sign-up sheets outside the gym.  Information regarding tryouts is also posted outside the gym.
4) Any students who are interested in trying out for a Girls Field Hockey team are asked to put their name on the sign-up sheet outside the gym.  Information regarding Field Hockey will come out once we know if we have enough interest for a team.
5) Girls rugby! There will be members of the girls rugby team set up in the forum today to answer any questions concerning the upcoming season. Tryouts start February 1st from 5:30-7:30 pm in the Lockview gym. Please arrive no later than 5:10 for registration.

Youth Health Centre:
*The YHC is collecting warm mitts, hats, scarfs, socks and toiletries for Phoenix Youth Programs. Please bring donations to the Youth Health Center.

*Are you looking to buy the perfect Valentine’s Day gift?  The Charity Club will be selling rafikis for $10 on Wednesday at lunch in the Forum.

*Today is Martin Luther King Day. In the 1960’s, King led the movement to end racial segregation in the United States.  This day marks the birthday of the civil rights activist who was an advocate of nonviolent protest and became the youngest man to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.  It honors King's life and many achievements.
