Athletics:
1) Good luck to the JV Girls Volleyball team as they open their season at Armbrae tonight at 5:30 pm.  Armbrae is not permitting spectators yet.

2) The 2nd Phase of the Girls Hockey tryouts continue today at 4 pm at the Sackville Arena.  Players are to be dismissed at 2:45 pm.

3) Good luck to the Varsity Girls Soccer team as they play at CPA tonight at 6 pm.

4) Members of the Cross- Country team who are running in the final Metro Series Race tomorrow at the Dingle are reminded to complete the Google sign up form by today.  The form can be found on the Athletics website or the school app.

5) Congrats to the Varsity Girls Volleyball team as they defeated JLI last night 3 games to 0.  Camryn Giddens was player of the game. 

6) Congrats to the Varsity Boys Volleyball team as they defeated Citadel on Monday night by a score of 3-0.

7) There are several student-athletes who have not yet seen Mr. Wilcox with their proof of vaccination.  Players are not permitted to practice or play until this is complete and coaches will be notified of ineligible players.  The school just needs to see the document once to check you off our master list.  Mr. Wilcox will be in his office first period and lunch and in the gym periods 2, 3, and 4.  Thank you for your cooperation. 

8) As we have entered a modified Phase 5 with regards to Covid, most schools and facilities are planning to allow spectators to watch games.  All spectators, aged 12 and over, must show their proof of full vaccination along with a piece of ID.  Drivers License or Student ID's are preferred, however, a health card should work as well.  For indoor games, spectators are still required to wear masks.  Thank you for your cooperation with these guidelines.  Some schools/faciliities are still not ready to allow spectators so thank you for your patience.
