Athletics:
1) Congrats to the Lockview Baseball team on winning the Provincial Championships this past weekend at CEC.  In the semi-final, the boys finished off Citadel with a thrilling comeback in the last inning down 2-0 to advance to the final against CEC.  In the final, Lockview defeated CEC by a score of 14-2.

2) Tryouts for the Varsity Girls Basketball team continue tonight at 8pm.  Students who have not yet shown Mr. Wilcox their proof of vaccine need to do so today.

3) Tryouts for the Varsity Boys Basketball team will be held this week on Tuesday and Thursday at 8pm.  Students who are interested in trying out need to complete the Google Sign up form that is posted on the Athletics website and the school app.  Students also have to show their proof of vaccine to Mr. Wilcox by Tuesday.

4) Good luck to the JV Girls Volleyball team as they play at Eastern Shore today at 5:30 pm.

5) Good luck to the Varsity Boys Volleyball team as they host PA tonight at 6 pm.  Spectators are reminded that they are required to show proof of vaccine and ID to get in. 

6) Members of the JV Girls Volleyball team are reminded to get their fees paid to Mr. Wilcox or through the online system. 

7) Members of the Baseball team and Golf team are reminded to return their jerseys to Mr. Wilcox this week.

8) Members of the Cross- Country team will have an important Provincials meeting at the beginning of lunch in Room A102.

Student Services:
*Students, please ensure that you are checking the calendar on the Student Services website calendar (https://sites.google.com/gnspes.ca/lockviewstudentservices).  We have booked many opportunities for you to meet with universities and colleges, in-person or virtually.  This is a great way for you to decide where you want to go after high school!

Other:
*There will be a Charity club meeting in B207 at lunch.

*The Charity Club will be collecting pants and socks for the jeans 4 teens foundation. Donations will be accepted until the 5th of November and there will be a collection bin in each A block class.  Share the warmth this winter, all donations welcome!
