Athletics:
1) Good luck to the JV Girls Soccer team as they travel to Cape Breton today for the Provincial Championships.  The girls take on CEC in the semifinals today at 1pm.

2) Good luck to the Football team as they take on Sydney Academy in the Provincial semi-final on Sunday in Sydney.

3) Good luck to the Boys Hockey team as they play Dartmouth tonight at 8 pm at the Sportsplex.

4) Congrats to the Boys Volleyball team on their 3-2 win over Bay View on Wednesday night.

5) Congrats to the Girls Hockey team on defeating Citadel yesterday by a score of 3-2 to remain undefeated.  Hilary Wilkin led the way with 2 goals while Reese Mason scored the game winner. 

6) Members of the Baseball, Golf, and Varsity Boys and Girls Soccer teams are reminded to return their uniforms to Mr. Wilcox this week.

7) The final roster for the JV Boys Basketball team is posted on the Athletics website and the School App.  The team's next practice is Tuesday at 8 pm.

Guidance:
*Grade 12 students who would like to apply for a Queen’s University Chancellor's Scholarship, it requires a nomination from your high school.  If you are interested in applying for the Chancellor's Scholarship you must write a letter outlining why you would make an excellent candidate and bring it to the LHS School Counsellor's office by Friday, November 12th at 4pm.  Additional information is available on the Google classroom.

*Anyone interested in submitting a design to be considered for the yearbook cover, please submit your sample to Ms. Meisner by Friday, November 12.
