Athletics:

1) The JV Girls Soccer team will hold a practice today at 4pm at Lockview.  There will also be a meeting for the team at the beginning of lunch in room A102.
2) The JV Boys Soccer team will hold a tryout on Friday at 4pm at Lockview.  The current roster is posted outside the gym and the team is looking to add some more players to the roster.
3) The XCountry team will hold their first practice today after school.  Any students interested are to meet Ms. Knox in the gym at 3:45.  Please bring water and sunscreen.
4) Good luck to the Varsity Boys Soccer team as they take on SJA today at 4pm at Cole Harbour.  The team is to be dismissed at 2:45pm.
5) Any students who missed yesterday's meeting and want to be added to the golf tryout must see Mr. Wilcox before lunch today.  The tee sheet for Tuesday's tryout will be posted outside the gym by Friday.
6) Tryouts for the JV Girls Volleyball team will be held Sep. 17th, 19th, and 20th at 3:30pm in the gym.
7) Any grade 9 girls who are interested in flag football are asked to sign up before Friday.  The sign-up sheet is outside the gym.
8) Any grade 9 boys who are interested in flag football are asked to sign up before Friday.  The sign-up sheet is outside the gym.
9) The final rosters for the Varsity Girls Volleyball, Boys Volleyball, and Baseball teams have been posted outside the gym.  Thank you to all students who attended tryouts

Student Council:

Student’s Council will be handing out the grade nine t-shirts (to all new grade nine students), at lunch outside the council lounge.  You must have your student ID to pick one up.

Japan Trip:

Today will be the first meeting of the lunchtime Improv Club.  Please meet at noon in the Art Room (F109), as we will be watching a few videos.  Bring lunch, bring a friend.  All grades are welcome!

CALL OUT FOR FEMALE ATHLETES
*The 2021 Canada Summer Games will be held in the Niagara Region in Ontario. The coaching staff of the women’s softball program invite all interested females in Nova Scotia born between 2003 and 2005 to participate in the selection process.
