Athletics:
1) Good luck to the JV Girls Soccer team as they take on Island View in the Metro semi-final today at 4 pm at Tallahassee field.  The girls are to be dismissed at 2pm.
2) Good luck to the Varsity Girls Volleyball team as they host the West tonight at 6 pm.
3) The 2nd tryout for the boys’ basketball teams will be held tonight at 7:30 pm.   The tryout is for both the Varsity and JV teams.
4) Members of the Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls soccer teams are asked to return their uniforms to Mr. Wilcox this week.
5) Congrats to the Intermediate Girls Cross Country team on their 4th place finish at the Provincial Championship meet in Cape Breton yesterday.
6) Good luck to the boys’ hockey team as they host Citadel in their season opener at the Sackville Arena tonight at 8pm.

Band:
*Senior band will meet today after school.

*All band small ensembles will meet tomorrow at lunch.

*There will be a full grade 10 band rehearsal Wednesday during B block for all grade 10 band students.

*Jazz band will meet Thursday after school.

*There will be Volare on Friday at lunch.

*If any Lockview students would like to perform at our Remembrance Day ceremonies please see Mrs. Burtt in the band room.

Other:
* The Potential Exemption List has been posted outside of the guidance department.  Please check for your name and ensure that any changes are made no later than Monday.

*There will be a Green Committee Meeting at lunch today in the Council Lounge.

*There will be a Junior Achievement meeting tonight in room A102.

*There will be a Free the Children Meeting at lunch tomorrow in room A207.

*There will be no Unified sports today at lunch.

*The Canadian Senior (Gr 11 & 12) and Intermediate (Gr 9 & 10) Math Contests provided by Waterloo University will be written on Thursday, November 22nd in the morning (Blocks D and C).   If you are interested in writing one of these contests, please speak with your math teacher as soon as possible. The deadline for signing up is October 30th at 3:30pm.
