Athletics:
1) The final tryout for the JV Girls Soccer team will be held today at 4 pm on the Lockview field.

2) The final tryout for the JV Girls Volleyball team will be held today at 4 pm in the gym.  The list of invited players is posted on the Athletics website and the school app.

3) Good luck to the Varsity Girls Soccer team as they take on CPA today at 4pm at Harbour East.  The girls are to be dismissed at 2:45 pm.

4) Members of the Cross- Country team are reminded to get their fees in to Mr. Wilcox before their first race.  The Google sign up form for this week's race will be posted on the Athletics website and the school app today.  Runners who plan on attending this week's race must sign up by Wednesday, Sep. 22nd and have their fees paid.

5) Members of the Varsity Boys and Girls Soccer teams need to have their fees paid this week.  Players will not be permitted to play after this week if fees aren't paid.  The $150 fee can be paid to Mr. Wilcox or through the online link posted on the Athletics website.

7) Congrats to the Football team who started the season with 2 wins after they defeated Horton by a score of 15-14 on Friday night.

8) There will be a mandatory meeting for the Golf Team today at the beginning of lunch in Room A102.

9) Phase #1 of the Boys Hockey tryouts begins tonight at East Hants from 7-8 pm.  A $60 fee is required for Phase #1.10

Other:
*All Halifax Regional Arts choirs will be starting up again as soon as the province moves to Phase 5. The Cantatrice Ensemble Girls' Choir and Dartmouth Jazz Choir directors will be coming to Lockview High on Wednesday, Sept. 22 to audition for new members. The audition piece is "O Canada" and no advance preparation is required. Auditions will be held in the Lockview band room after school. The directors are looking for in-tune singers with a strong sense of commitment and a love of music, and all interested students are encouraged to audition.
