Athletics:
1) Congrats to the Football team as they defeated Sydney Academy, 14-10 yesterday in the league semi-final.  The win advances the team to the Championship game.

2) Congrats to the JV Girls Soccer team on capturing the Provincial Silver medal this weekend at provincials.

3) Good luck to the Girls Hockey team as they play CPA today at 4 pm at BMO.  The girls are to be dismissed at 2:45 pm.

4) Good luck to the JV Girls Volleyball team as they host Citadel tonight at 6 pm.

5) Members of the Golf, Baseball, Varsity Boys Soccer, Varsity Girls Soccer, and JV Girls Soccer teams are asked to return their uniforms to Mr. Wilcox.

Guidance:
*Grade 12 students who would like to apply for a Queen’s University Chancellor's Scholarship, it requires a nomination from your high school.  If you are interested in applying for the Chancellor's Scholarship you must write a letter outlining why you would make an excellent candidate and bring it to the LHS School Counsellor's office by Friday, November 12th at 4pm.  Additional information is available on the Google classroom.

Other:
*Anyone interested in submitting a design to be considered for the yearbook cover, please submit your sample to Ms. Meisner by Friday, November 12.

*Congratulations to all Lockview band students on a fantastic concert last week.   It was so great to hear you playing and enjoying making music together!

*There will be Volaré choir today lunch.  

*The charity club will be having a bake sale on Wednesday, November 3 at lunch to support the “Jeans 4 Teens” foundation. They will also continue to collect jeans and socks until the 5th of November. There is a collection bin in each D block class. All donations are welcome.

*There will be a charity club meeting today at lunch in room B207.

*There is a Covid-19 vaccine clinic in the cafeteria this morning for anybody interested in getting vaccinated.  It will be open until 11:30am.
