- Next week there will be intramurals in the gym during every lunch hour. Visit the bulletin board by the gym to sign up for Basketball, Volleyball, Dodgeball, Flag Football and Ball Hockey using the QR codes.
- Submissions for the yearbook cover page design contest are due on October 14. Check out the posters around the school for more details.
- On Friday October 14 the Sackville Public Library will be hosting a Fun Friday Art club. Those interested in joining can sign up in the library.
- The student council application for Grade 9’s is available on the school app. If you are interested, please fill in the application and submit it to Ms. Bianco by Wednesday.
- Congrats to Blake Wilson as he finished in the top 5 at the Metro Golf Championships and qualified for Provincials. Congrats to the girls’ team of Taylor Wilson, Katie MacIntyre, Claire MacIntyre, and Brooke Sanford who also qualified for next week's provincials.
- Good luck to the Varsity Boys Soccer team as they play CPA today at 4 pm at Harbour East.
- Good luck to the Football team as they take on Citadel tonight at 7pm at Mainland.
- Good luck both the Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls Volleyball teams as they compete in the DAL tournament this weekend. Both teams are to be dismissed at lunch.
- Any grade 12 student interested in going on a tour of the Saint Mary’s University campus are encouraged to sign up in the Student Services office. The tour is on October 19. The bus will leave the school at 9:40 and return for 3:20pm in time to get your bus home. Lunch will be provided. Students must submit a signed permission form. There are limited seats available and it is first come, first serve.
