Athletics:
1) Congrats to the JV Girls Soccer team as they defeated CPA 3-0 in the Regional semi-final yesterday.  Abby Malcolm, Larissa Miles, and Charlotte Snow were the goal scorers, while Lydia Ramsay earned the shutout in goal.  The win advances the girls to the Regional final.

2) Good luck to the Girls Hockey team as they host CPA today at 4 pm at the Sackville Arena.  The girls are to be dismissed at 2:45 pm.

3) Good luck to the JV Girls Volleyball team as they host Grammar today at 6 pm.

4) Good luck to the Varsity Boys Volleyball team as they play at Citadel tonight at 6 pm.

5) Good luck to the Varsity Girls Soccer team as they take on Millwood in the first round of the playoffs tonight at 6 pm at the Cole Harbour turf.

6) Members of the JV Girls Volleyball team who have not yet paid their fees are reminded to do so this week.

7) Members of the Golf team and Baseball team are reminded to return their jerseys to Mr. Wilcox this week.

8) Tryouts for the Varsity Boys Basketball team continue Thursday at 8 pm.  Students who have not yet shown their proof of vaccine to Mr. Wilcox need to do so.

9) The roster for the Varsity Girls Basketball team should be posted at some point today.

10) Congrats to the Varsity Girls Volleyball team as they extended their winning streak with a 3-0 defeat of Dartmouth last night.  Ella Wilson was player of the game for Lockview.

Other:
*The Charity Club will be collecting pants and socks for the jeans 4 teens foundation. Donations will be accepted until the 5th of November and there will be a collection bin in each A block class.  Share the warmth this winter, all donations welcome!

*Interested in writing a math contest? The next round of Waterloo Math Contests ... the Canadian Intermediate and Canadian Senior Math competitions... are coming up on November 17. If you'd like more information or would like to sign up to write the contests, please talk to your math teacher sometime this week. Or see Ms. Miles in room D207 one lunch hour this week. Contests will be ordered on Monday, Oct 25, so be sure to sign up before then.
